Psalms 23

1 The Lord is my shepherd;

I have all that I need. 2 He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. 3 He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.

4 Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid,

for you are close beside me. Your rod & your staff protect & comfort me. 5 You prepare a feast for me

in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.

6 Surely your goodness & unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, & I will live in the house of the Lord forever.

Colossians 4:2

Ephesians 6:18

18 Pray in the Spirit at all times & on every occasion. Stay alert & be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

Romans 12:12

12 Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, & keep on praying.

Philippians 4:6-7

6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, & thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts & minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:26-28

26 & the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. 27 & the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. 28 & we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God & are called according to his purpose for them.
