Our beliefs:

The Bible:

The Bible is the inspired word of God. It is the authority for us to understand how to live & know our faith.

Jesus Christ:

Fully human, fully God, having no sin. Lord, Savior, Redeemer.

Holy Spirit:

Sent by the Father & Son to convict of sin. He lives in every believer & is a constant helper.

Humanity:

Created in God’s image, fallen into sin, of great value to God.

Sin Nature:

Inability of all humans to be totally right & do right according to God's perfect moral character.

Salvation:

God’s grace in Christ forgives our sin & gives eternal life. Those who confess & repent from their sin, trusting in Jesus Christ, will be saved by grace.

Church:

God’s people led by the Spirit of Christ to do God’s work & learn from each other to live in God's kingdom.

Future Hope:

Christ Jesus returns to judge the world & take all believers to be with Him.

Love:
(Love God & Love Others)

28 One of the teachers of religious law was standing there listening to the debate. He realized that Jesus had answered well, so he asked, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” 29 Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one & only Lord. 30 & you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, & all your strength.’ 31 The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.” Mark 12:28-31

Scriptural foundations of our church:

COLOSSIANS 2:6-7

6 & now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. 7 Let your roots grow down into him, & let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, & you will overflow with thankfulness.

EPHESIANS 3:15-19

15 the Creator of everything in heaven & on earth. 16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. 17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love & keep you strong. 18 & may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, & how deep his love is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life & power that comes from God.

JOHN 13:34-35

34 So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. 35 Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

PSALM 1:1-3

1 Oh, the joys of those who do not

follow the advice of the wicked,

or stand around with sinners,

or join in with mockers. 2 But they delight in the law of the Lord,

meditating on it day & night. 3 They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season.

Their leaves never wither, & they prosper in all they do.

JAMES 1:22

22 But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.

John 3:16

16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one & only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
